Hi Reader, I'm thrilled to officially launch my brand new, AI-powered, on-demand professional development resource – The Leader Assistant Academy! You can cut to the chase and check it out here, but I wanted to share a bit of backstory before diving into what's included. When I published my first blog post on July 3, 2016, I encouraged executives to empower their assistants. I urged them to take the executive <-> assistant partnership seriously if they wanted to accomplish their goals and resist burnout. I set out to help executives, so I primarily wrote directly to them. But around 18 months later, the majority of people reading my blog, connecting with me on LinkedIn, and reaching out for help were assistants – not executives. So I read the writing on the wall and went all in on writing and producing resources to directly help assistants like you be the confident, game-changing Leader Assistants the world needs. I launched The Leader Assistant Podcast in 2019 (which recently crossed 1,000,000 downloads). In 2020, I published The Leader Assistant book. In 2022, I released The Leader Assistant Workbook. Since the podcast and book launches, life has been a whirlwind. I've trained assistants in different cities, countries, and career levels. One of my favorite experiences was speaking to 1,000 assistants in a large theater at Amazon in Seattle. But I also loved hosting a masterclass in Denver for 16 growth-minded assistants. Thinking back to when I hit "publish" on that first blog post, I certainly hoped my ideas would help others, but I had no idea how far and wide the impact would be. So thank you for being here. The simple fact that you are reading this tells me you care about doing good work. You care about leveling up without burning out. You care about leading well when the cards are stacked against you. Speaking of on-demand video, my all new professional development resource, The Leader Assistant Academy includes a course with bite-sized, on-demand videos in each lesson. Nothing...
